BLUFFTON, SC - Elizabeth Percival Mingledorff, 62, died Sunday morning, November 16, 2008, at Hospice House under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralston Everett Mingledorff, Sr. and Marjory Heyward Mingledorff, and her younger brother, George Heyward Mingledorff.
She is survived by her first husband and dear friend, Billy Colcock of Bluffton, SC; and two siblings, her sister, Anne Heyward Mingledorff of Savannah and her brother, Ralston Everett Mingledorff, Jr. of Aspen, CO. Also surviving are a niece, Cameron Bliss Ferrelle of Winterville, GA and four nephews, Lewis Craighill Bliss, Jr. of Newport, RI, George Heyward Mingledorff and Ralston McAlpin Mingledorff, both of Savannah, and Colton Everett Mingledorff of Aspen, CO.
A private memorial service will be held at the Church of the Cross in Bluffton. Her ashes will be scattered in the May River from the family home.

Dear Anne and Ross, I was so dismayed to learn today of Lissa's death. I wish I had known she was in hospice so I could have told her goodbye. Today we prayed for her in church. I don't know if I can make it down on Dec. Tuesday but I would like to be there. She and I shared so many years of good times together. Through her I had the love of your grandparents and parents. Do you know the first steak I ever had in my life was at your Savannah house for supper one night? We spent so much time at Belfair riding together and so many spend the nights together.
